Larissa, Thessaly. AR Drachm (18 mm, 5.63 g), c. early to mid 4th Century. Obv. Thessalos to right, naked but for chlamys over his shoulders and petasos hanging around his neck, holding a band with both hands around the forehead of a bull rushing right. Rev. ΛΑ - ΡΙΣ retrograde below, bridled horse with loose rein prancing right. BCD Thessaly 170 and 1122 (both from the same dies); SNG Cop. 99 (same dies).
Some roughness. About very fine.
