Messene, Peloponnesos. AE Hemiobol or Hexachalkon (20 mm, 6.77 g), c. 40s-30s BC. Obv. Head of Demeter to right, wearing diadem. Rev. Zeus Ithomatas right, hurling thunderbolt and eagle; to left, NIKAPXOC; to right, ME above tripod. BMC 37; Grandjean 488 (same dies, but this coin recorded as 515b in error).
Light green patina. Good very fine.
