Macrinus (217-218 AD). AE30 (17.68 g), Damascus, Syria. Obv. AYT KAI M OΠ CE MAKPINOC CEB, laureate and cuirassed bust right. Rev. ΔAMACKHNΩN MHTPOΠOΛEOC / XPYCOPA, river-god Chrysoroas reclining left, holding cornucopiae in right and resting with left on urn from which water flows; to left, shrine. Cf. M&M Auction 20 (2006), 615 (same dies); Helios 3 (2009), 735 (this coin).
Apparently the second known. Obverse flan fault, otherwise, good fine.
