Obv. AVT KAI M AVP ANTWNЄINOC CЄB / Π - Π, bust right, wearing crown and garment of the demiurgos.

Rare. Very fine.

An interesting coin, issued on the occasion of Caracalla's visit to the city in 215 AD. The emperor is portrayed in the traditional garment of the demiurgos, a city magistrate, while the reverse commemorates the convention of the Cilician Koinon in its capital Tarsos.
