Neapolis, Campania. AR fourrée Nomos (20 mm, 6.50 g), after 300 BC. Obv. Diademed head of nymph left, ladle behind. Rev. Man-headed bull right; above, Nike flying right, crowning bull; below, NEOΠOΛITΩN. Cf. SNG ANS 396.
A well-made ancient forgery. Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
