ANTONINVS PIVS AVGVSTVS, laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius (86-161 AD) as a child to left.
Loop attached to reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
An interesting 19th Century medal showing the Roman emperor Antoninus Pius as youthful Augustus, even though Antoninus was already 52 when he became emperor in 138 AD and had only be hailed heir to the throne a couple of months before.
