ΣEΛEΥKOΥ, Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, X above arm, large + with pellets in quarters below arm; + below throne. CNG E-354, 268 (this coin). CNG E-352, 189. CNG E-350, 301. CNG E-349, 168.
Very rare. Some cleaning marks, otherwise, very fine.
From the D.A.K. Collection.
While most Eastern Celtic Tetradrachms copy the types of Philip II, Alexander III and Philip III, this coin copies a Seleukos I prototype.
