Severus Alexander (222-235 AD). AR Denarius (20-21 mm, 3.17 g), Roma (Rome), 231-235. Obv. IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. SPES PVBLICA, Spes walking left, holding flower in her right hand and dress robe her left. Cohen 546; RIC 254.
Well struck on a large flan. Nicely toned. Good extremely fine.
