Valentinianus II (375-392 AD). AR Siliqua (19 mm, 2.06 g), Lugdunum (Lyon), 389-90. Obv. D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. VRBS ROMA / LVGPS Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory set on globe in her right hand and reversed spear in her left. RIC IX 43a.
Beautifully toned. Minor flan crack, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
