Maximus (235-238 AD). AE Sestertius (31 mm, 24.00 g), Roma (Rome). Obv. MAXIMVS CAES GERM, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS / S - C, Maximus as Prince of the Youth standing left, holding baton in right and transverse spear in left; behind, two standards. RIC 13.
Nicely patinated and struck on a full, heavy flan. Good very fine.
