Nero Claudius Drusus, father of Germanicus and Claudius (died 9 BC). AV Aureus (18-19 mm, 7.70 g). Rome mint. Struck under Claudius, 41-42 AD. Obv. NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IMP, Laureate head left. Rev. DE GERMANIS, Two oblong shields, each over two spears and a trumpet, crossed over an upright vexillum with flag. RIC 73; BMC 104.
