L. Titurius L. f. Sabinus. AR Denarius (17-18 mm, 4.05 g), Rome, 89 BC. Obv. Bearded head right of the Sabine king, Tatius; SABIN downwards to left, palm frond below chin. Rev. Two soldiers, facing each other, each carrying off a Sabine woman in his arms, above, star in crescent. Crawford 344/2b; BMCRR 2328.
Well centered and almost extremely fine.
