Philippus II. (244-249 AD), as Augustus (247-249 AD). AE Sestertius (31 mm, 19.01 g), Roma (Rome). Obv. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. Rev. PAX AETERNAE / S - C, Pax standing left, holding branch and transverse sceptre. RIC IV, 3, p. 103, 268a.
Excellent style. Minor flan crack, otherwise, good very fine.
