Phoenicia, Sidon. AR 1/16 Shekel (9 mm, 0.83 g), c. 425-402 BC. Obv. Galley with oars, rudder and row of shields to left in front of city's fortifications with three towers; lion crouching to left in exergue. Rev. Great King of Persia standing right, drawing bow between two incuse figures; Bes to left and ibex to right. Elayi and Elayi 2004, III.3.a. 362-448.
Very rare. Nicely toned and extremely fine.
