Maximinus I Thrax (235-238 AD). AE Sestertius (30-31 mm, 23.60 g), Rome. Obv. MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right, seen from behind. Rev. VICTORIA GERMANICA, Victory standing left, holding wreath and palm branch; at her feet to left, bound captive seated; S-C across fields. RIC 90; BMC 191.
Green-brown patina. Good very fine/very fine.
