Celtic, Central Gaul. Lemovices. AV Stater (18 mm, 7.33 g), 3rd to early 2nd century BC. 'Type de Moulin-Limoges, au bust de face',
imitating Philip II of Macedon. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev.
Celticized charioteer driving biga to right, holding reins in his left
hand and kentron in his right; below the horses, facing head of Helios. BN 4541; DT 3286A.
Very rare. Very fine.
