Sicily, Siculo-Punic. Entella, c. 300-289 BC. AR tetradrachm (22-24 mm, 17.33 g). Obv. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. Punic inscription mhmhnt, horse's head left; behind, palm tree with fruits. Jenkins 387 (0119/R317); SNG Lloyd 1646 (same dies).
Extremely fine.
Purchased privately from Art et Placements, Reims (France), in 1990.
