A note from BCD: A very unusual bilingual publication and certainly
difficult to find, if not outright rare. The authors attempt to illustrate the
progression of coinage from Greek through to Islamic, providing photographs and
descriptions of coinages from all the cultures that flourished in the eastern
Mediterranean region.
