A note from BCD: Certainly off the beaten track for Greek coin
publications, this article divides the holdings of the Belgrade Museum of
Applied Arts into genuine and false. In this writer’s opinion the forgery
photos are as valuable as the genuine ones; some of these coins have appeared
as genuine in past auction catalogues. There could be a couple of very credible
fakes pictured amongst the genuine coins but this is a minor detail and does
not in any way affect the interest of this publication.
