A note from BCD: A rare catalogue with the two superb Dardel plates free from the usual foxing and with prices and buyers names penciled in a later hand. An additional bonus is a number of fascinating notes and comments in French in a contemporary hand. These must be from someone very knowledgeable who had access to several private and museum collections and who had examined the coins and expressed doubts on the authenticity of some.
