A note from BCD: A catalogue dedicated to the memory of Behrend Pick who was Sternberg’s uncle and responsible for his numismatic training. Shraga Qedar took upon himself the difficult task of classifying the Jewish coins of which there is an important consignment. Greek coins now make their first appearance and Roman Provincials abound. Then comes a selection of Byzantine coins of all metals, followed by coins of the Goths and Arab Byzantine bronzes. A large quantity of books and catalogues on ancient coins are offered and there are two B&W coin enlargement plates at the end.
