eAuction #51 - Literature sale III, Lot 57. Estimate: CHF 20.00
Thompson, Margaret. “The mints of Lysimachus,” C.M.
Kraay & G.K. Jenkins (Eds.), Essays
in Greek Coinage Presented to Stanley Robinson, Oxford 1968, pages 163-182,
plates 16-22. Protective blue card covers as issued, split at spine top and
bottom, edges worn, penciled title on page 163. Interior Very Good. CS 2404, Daehn 3682, Kroh p. 27
A note from BCD: Margaret Thompson is perfectly at home here and
excels in such studies. Clear and coherent, she does not use even one
unnecessary word in this presentation, a far cry from the convoluted work of
some “modern” scholars who beautify their weak arguments with useless chatter.
