A note from BCD: Two hoards of particular interest are singled out:
Hoard 17 and Hoard 37. The first because it is unfortunately composed of a
mixture of genuine and false coins; the second because the information provided
allows us to classify together several uncertain types and also suggest a
minting location for the group. There are of course many more interesting
hoards laid out with scores of decent photos and this suggests that searches
for pedigrees would probably be a good idea.
