A note from BCD: Nearly three plates of ancients and one of modern
coins illustrate some of the contents of this catalogue. An interesting
trilingual flyer tipped-in asks customers unknown to the company to request a
copy against payment of one franc, 0.80 mark or ten pence! Towards the end of
the sale, large quantities of Greek and Roman coins, grouped in lots and listed
as false or doubtful, make the reader wonder where have they all gone…!
