Diocletianus (284-305). AR Argenteus (18 mm, 3.07 g), 294/295 AD, Siscia. Obv. DIOCLETIANVS AVG, Laureate head right. Rev. VIRTVS MILITVM, The four Tetrarchs sacrificing over tripod before archway in eight-turreted enclosure. RIC VI, p. 459, 32a (R); Jelocnik 75, 1. Nicely toned. Sharp strike from fresh dies. Small flan-crack, otherwise, superb extremely fine.
