Allectus, Romano-British Usurper (293-296 AD). AE Antoninianus (21-24 mm, 4.88 g), Camulodunum. Obv. IMP C ALLECTVS P F AVG, Radiate and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing left, holding globe in right hand and cornucopiae in left; S-P across field, C in exergue. RIC 108; C. 51.
Struck on a broad flan. Minor corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
