Diocletianus (284-305 AD). AE Follis (25-27 mm, 10.02 g), c. 298/299 AD, Trier. Obv. IMP DIOCLETIANVS P AVG, Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust left, right holding scepter over shoulder, left shield. Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius standing left, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, right holding patera, left cornucopiae; B - * across fields, TR in exergue. RIC VI Treveri -; Zschucke - (cf. 117, differing obverse legend).
Extremely rare. About extremely fine and nearly fully silvered.
