Dioshieron, Lydia. Pseudo-autonomous AE18 (2.82 g), 2nd Century AD. Obv. ΠOΛIC, turreted and draped bust of Tyche right. Rev. ΔΙΟCΙΕΡΕΙΤΩΝ, river-god Kaystros reclining left, resting on water-urn and holding reed and cornucopiae. RPC online temp. 1434.
Rare. Very fine.
An interesting issue, boasting the city's status as a nominally independent Polis.
