Licinius (308-324 AD) for Licinius II Caesar. Silvered AE Nummus (20 mm, 3.34 g), Arelate, 318. Obv. VAL LICINIVS NOB CAES, Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. IOVI CONSERVATORI, Jupiter standing left, holding thunderbolt, leaning on sceptre; T (star on crescent) A in exergue. RIC 160 (R3).
Rare and with an excellent portrait. Almost extremely fine.
