Lucius Verus (161-169 AD). AE 2 Assaria (25 mm, 8.47 g), Argos, Peloponnesos. Obv. AVHPOC AVΓOVCTOC, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. Rev. APΓEIWN, Perseus standing left, head right, holding head of Medusa and harpa. NCP, I XVIII var.; BCD Peloponnesos 1197 (this coin).
Rare and interesting reverse type. Good very fine.
