Celts in Eastern Europe. AR Tetradrachm (25-26 mm, 13.95 g), imitating Philip II of
Macedon, late 4th-early 3rd century BC. Obv. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev.
ΦΙΛΙΠΠ-ΟΥ, Youth on horseback right; holding palm in right hand and
reins in left; Λ over torch below. Cf. Lanz 355; cf. Göbl Taf. 4/10.
Small area of corrosion on edge, otherwise, well struck in high relief and extremely fine.
