Kings of Macedon. Alexander III "the Great" (336-323 BC). AV Stater (8.36 g), c. 250-225 BC, Kallatis mint. Obv. Head of Athena wearing Corinthian helmet to right. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Nike standing to left with wreath and stylis; in outer left field, KA ligate, and in lower left field, monogram. Price 902.
Extremely fine with full mint lustre on reverse.
