Eastern Celts. Imitations of Philip II of Macedon, early 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (25-26 mm, 13.99 g). Grosse und derbe Köpfe type, struck in the central and lower Carpathian region.
Obv. Laureate head of Zeus to right.
Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOY, Youth on horseback right, holding palm frond; below belly, Λ above torch; dolphin below raised foreleg.
