Probus (276-282 AD). Antoninianus (23 mm, 3.35 g), Cyzikus (Erdek). Obv. IMP C M AVR PROBVS P AVG, Helmeted and cuirassed bust left, holding spear over right shoulder and round shield on left arm. Rev. VIRTVS PROBI AVG, Emperor galloping right, spearing enemy whose shield lies beneath horse; KAΓ in exergue. RIC V, p. 113, 880.
Rare variant with round shield. Good very fine.
