Septimius Severus (193-211 AD) for Caracalla. AE Assarion (4.84 g, 23 mm), c. 198-209 AD, Kleitor, Peloponnesos. Obv. [Illegible legend], Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. KΛEI[...], Helios, radiate, head turned right, standing facing wearing the robes of a charioteer, holding uncertain objects in his hands and with his arms extended left and right; below, to right, altar. Apparently unpublished. Extremely rare. Fine.
