Traianus (98-117 AD) for his sister Marciana. AV Aureus (20 mm, 6.90 g), 112-117 AD. Obv. DIVA AVGVSTA MARCIANA, Draped bust to right, hair elaborately dressed, above which crescent-shaped diadem. Rev. CONSECRATIO, Eagle with spread wings flying right on sceptre, head to left. Woytek 714 (5 Ex.); RIC 745; Strack 199; BMC 652 (same rev. die).
Exceedingly rare, only 5 specimens known to Woytek. Very fine.
