behind ear. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY, Eagle standing left on thunderbolt;
monogram to left. CPE 128; Svor. 196A; SNG Cop. –; BMC –;
Boston MFA –; Dewing –; Hunt –; Noeske –.
Extremely rare issue, only two specimens noted by Svoronos,
missing from the major collections. Struck on a broad flan, good very fine.
From a Swiss Collection formed before World War II.
