Galerius as Caesar (293-305 AD). AE Follis (28-30 mm, 10.84 g), Treveri (Trier) c. 302/303 AD. Obv. MAXIMIANVS NOB C, Laureate and cuirassed bust right. Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius standing left, head towered, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, right holding patera, left cornucopiae; S - F across fields, I TR in exergue. RIC VI Treveri 539b (S).
Scarce. Sharp strike from fresh dies on a broad flan. Extremely fine and nearly fully silvered.
