C. Cassius in part with Lentulus Spinther. AR Denarius (19 mm, 3.86 g), mint moving with Cassius 43-42 BC. Obv. C. CASSI IMP, Filleted tripod surmounted by cortina (cauldron) and two laurel branches Rev. LENTVLVS / SPINT, Jug and lituus. Cr. 500/1. Syd. 1308 (R9).
Very rare. Sharply struck and perfectly centered. Superb extremely fine.
