Sicyon, Sicyonia. AR Stater (23-25 mm, 11.80 g), c. 431-400 BC.
Obv. Chimaera moving left on ground line, right paw raised; below, ΣE. Rev. Dove flying left with wings open above and below, B above tail; all within olive wreath. BCD Peloponnesos 187 (this coin); BMC 22 and 48 var.
Very rare, apparently the only other specimen comes from the Myron hoard. Crystallized surfaces, otherwise, about extremely fine.
