AYTOKR KAIC NEP TPAIANOC APICT CEB ΓEP ΔAK ΠAPΘ, Laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind. Rev. Large S C, C below; all within laurel wreath. McAlee 496; for countermark, see Howgego 378.
Laurel branch countermark on obverse. Unusually complete. Good very fine.
Howgego notes that the laurel branch countermark appears as an undertype on a Bar Kochba bronze, indicating that it was applied prior to 132-135 AD.
