A note from BCD: Wroth (footnote 24) is on the right track here when he mentions the connection of BMC Mysia pl. XXIV, 5 with the well known “Syros” tetradrachms that have now finally been reattributed to Pergamon. See “The Closed Currency System of the Attalid Kingdom” by Andrew Meadows in: Peter Thonemann, Editor, “Attalid Asia Minor”, pp. 184-186.
