1. Greek and Greek Imperial Bronze Coins. 585 lots, 37 plates. Prices realized
list. Glossy white printed card covers, with small split at spine. Plates
loose. Good.
A note from BCD: The first of only two public auctions of Ed, aiming to
promote the sale of autonomous and Roman Provincial (known as Greek Imperials
at that time) bronzes. The late Bob Myers was conducting the auction that, in
spite of nearly all coins selling, could not produce the income to cover the
venue expenses, mainly because there was no buyer’s commission (those were the
days…)
