eAuction #49, Lot 120. Estimate: CHF 100.00
Victorinus (269-271 AD). AE silvered Antoninianus (23 mm, 3.83 g), Cologne. Obv. IMP C PIAV VICTORINVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. PAX AVG, Pax standing left, holding olive branch and sceptre; V in left field; star in right. Elmer 651. AGK corr. 14a.
Rare with this much silvering. Flan flaw, likely resulting from striking an oversized but thin flan, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
