Probus (276-282 AD). AE Antoninianus (22-23 mm, 4.61 g), Serdica (Sofia), c. 280-281 AD. Obv. IMP C M AVR PROBVS INVICT AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. Rev. RESTITVTOR ORBIS, Emperor standing right holding spear, receiving globe from Jupiter standing left, holding sceptre; MS between, KA·Δ· in exergue. RIC V, 2, p. 111, 858 var. (obverse legend).
Rare. Almost fully silvered and extremely fine.
