Augustus (27 BC - 14 AD). AE As (24 mm, 8.85 g), Lugdunum (Lyon), 10-7 BC (?). Obv. CAESAR PONT MAX, laureate head to right. Rev. ROM ET AVG, Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding a palm frond and wreath. RIC 230.
