Very rare. Beautiful hard green patina. Very fine.
From the François Righetti Collection, ex Gorny & Mosch 58, 1992, 860 and Peus 410, 2013, 653.
This medallion is part of a series struck from the same obverse die for three different cities: Markianopolis, Odessos and Tomis. It may have been connected to some regional festivities that led to a joint emission of medallions by the three poleis.
