Clodius Albinus (193-195 AD). AE Sestertius (29-30 mm, 23.77 g), Rome, c. 194-195 AD. Obv. D CLOD SEPT ALBIN CAES, bare head to right. Rev. MINER PACIF COS II / S - C, Minerva standing front, head left, holding olive branch in extended right hand and shield set on ground in left hand; spear cradled in left arm. RIC 54a; BMC 535.
Excellent portrait. Spot of corrosion on reverse. Wonderful olive green patina. Almost very fine.
