Mantineia, Peloponnesos. AE Trichalkon (18 mm, 4.12 g), c. 290s-270s BC. Obv. Head of Athena wearing attic helmet right. Rev. MAN, Poseidon striding left, left arm outstretched and hurling trident with right. SNG Cop. 249-250; BCD Peloponnesos 1486 (this coin).
Rare. Very fine. The reverse may have been copied from the silver coinage of Demetrios Poliorketes.
