Maximianus Herculius (286-305 AD). AE Follis (27-28 mm, 9.7 g), Treveri (Trier) mint, c. 302-303 AD. Obv. IMP MAXIMIANVS P AVG, Laureate and cuirassed bust right. Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius standing left, head towered, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, right holding patera, left cornucopiae; S - F across fields, ITR in exergue. RIC VI Treveri 519b.
Sharply struck from fresh dies. Fully silvered and extremely fine.
